The Participating Site’s Studies Dashboard has been updated to help clarify that the local IRB number is noted with the PI name. The PI column is now labeled as, ‘PI (Local IRB #),’ and includes ‘IRB #’ in the column if a local IRB number was indicated by the relying HRPP.

Updated Feature: Study Reports now shows which studies are capturing Local Consideration updates
The Overall Study and Participating Site Report has a new column, ‘isCapturingLocalContextUpdates’ to indicate which studies in IREx are capturing Local Considerations updates for the life of a study. Reviewing IRBs can download the Overall Study Report (CSV) and the Participating Site Report (CSV) from their Reviewing Site’s Studies Dashboard from the Export menu.

The columns on the Participating Site Report have been rearranged in the order we’d expect the dates to happen. Reviewing IRBs can access the Participating Site Report from their Reviewing Site’s Studies Dashboard.
Updated Feature: Sponsors now listed in the Overall Study Export
The Overall Study Export has a new ‘Sponsors’ column that lists the sponsors for a study. Multiple sponsors are separated by commas. Reviewing IRBs can access the Overall Study Report from their Reviewing Site’s Studies Dashboard from the Export menu.

Updated Feature: ‘Auto approved’ column included in Participating Site Report
The My Relying Studies Report (CSV) on the Participating Site Dashboard export has a new ‘auto Approved’ column to indicate whether the site’s approval was automatically when publishing the lead site’s approval. The column will show a value of ‘1’ if the site’s approval was automatically posted, which means the site did not have site-specific changes. A ‘0’ indicates the site’s approval was uploaded separately from the overall approval because it contained site-specific changes (e.g., updated or re-stamped consent forms).
Updated Feature: The Participating Site Dashboard “To Do” list has been updated to reflect steps no longer required
The ‘Verify Study Team Access’ and ‘Validate PI Survey’ steps will no longer show on the Participating Site Dashboard’s “To Do” column. Those steps are no longer required for Relying HRPPs.
Updated Feature: Primary Liaison Contact included in the Reviewing IRB’s Overall Study Export
The Reviewing IRB’s Overall Study Export now includes a column for the Primary Liaison contact, “reviewingIRBContact”.
New Feature: Add Participant box for Study Managers
Study Managers now have a “Participant” box added to their Dashboard menu to view the studies they are participating in as a relying site study team. The descriptive text next to the Participant box indicates , “Your site is a Participant in [#] studies”.
Updated Feature: Updated PI Studies Dashboard
Lead and Participating Site PI Dashboards have been updated to include the study title, PI’s local site name, Reviewing IRB, current study expiration date, and a To Do column that lists the next step for your site. The dashboard includes sorting and searching capabilities.
